Well hello again to all of you fun and very fine people once again, my name as always is Sam and I would like to welcome you all once again to another episode of my weekly series of Weird Mind News Room where for another week we will be delving into all of the New Releases, Trailers and News for the week (which may have a bit of a hefty amount this week from a certain convention on this week) but let us delve into the focus of moving from intros and to talk on all things media for this week.

Movies

Avatar Aang The Last Airbender

On the first of the new releases for this week is one that had initially a bit of a journey to get here that was born from a live action remake and leaving from creative differences, a journey of dedication and hope to release in a big screen before the studio decided it worked more for streaming and then someone in the studio leaked it to someone by email and then too no blame in it, but after all of that it is finally time to return to this world of the elements and strange and strong powers as after years since they save the world we have the release of the all new sequel film to the popular animated series with Avatar Aang the Last Airbender. Set 13 years after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai and the end of the 100 year war, Aang will discover another surviving airbender named Tagah and learns about a powerful staff that could restore his culture. With the help of Katara, Sokka, Zuko and Toph, they embark on a global quest to find the relic before a group known as the Denied can claim it and upend the peace that they fought to achieve. Reception on this new follow up film from the handful of critics seems to be very well recieved with praise on the follow up story, character development, action and being a well respected follow up for the original cast of characters, even if some feel it would've benefitted more for it releasing in cinemas (bar the very limited showings in only LA or New York) but if you want to see the continuing journey of this series then you can catch this film out now on Paramount+.

Animal Farm

This next film and last one of this week was one I was not even sure was releasing this week in particular as things were very vague from when it dropped 2 months ago stateside (and for many reasons) and it seems there is a new take on a very well known novel that the approach on this may have been altered and affected in many ways in the change in format of how society is run as we have the release of the all new animated take on the novel of Animal Farm. Now based on the novel by George Orwell, the film will focus on a large farm of animals and will see cows, horses, sheep and the other animals fight for equal rights when a group of Pigs led by Napoleon (Seth Rogen) seizes power on the farm and twist the rules in their favor. Now the reception on this title has not been the best at all as the film has been criticized for failing to understand and make it more accessible to the themes for kids with the use of low brow humour and too many modern references (and the case it being made by the company of Angel Studios, one that heavily focuses usually of religious projects) with most praise being on some of the visuals but it has been seen by many as one of the this years most disliked movies of this year and if you want to check it out for yourself then it is available to see now in cinemas.

Tv Shows

King of the Hill Season 15

Moving over to TV and streaming, the first of this week will be heading back over to the states and to the location where the focus of surburban life will bring the ideals that you may have been working for many years but will now be the case of finding something to do with the focus of the big scary new thing of retirement as this will be the focus of our return to this popular series revival as we have the release of the 2nd season of the King of the Hill revival. The new season will see Hank and Peggy settle into Retirement life on Rainey Street while they attempt to keep their neighbours from going off the rails. Meanwhile Bobby tries to manage old friendships while dealing with the stresses of being an entrepreneur. Reception on this new season similar to the first in the revival has also been very well recieved with praise on the continued development of the characters, humour and narratives in focus, as well as their take on some more modern elements and if you want to check it out for yourself then you can catch the full new season and the previous seasons now on Disney+

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe

As for the other tv series for this week is one that I still question in the case of all of the tv shows and series that this creator has done over the years, that this is the show that has spawned so many follow ups, spin offs and prequels and it seems they are doing it once more with an overly elaborate, multiversal chaotic adventure and the lead of a hero all comes down to a simple comic book store owner as we are returning to the world of Big Bang Theory as we have the release of the newest series from the franchise with Stuart Fails to save the universe. The series will see Comic book shop owner Stuart Bloom causing the end of the universe after a mishap with a device created by Sheldon and Leonard, and is soon tasked with restoring reality along with his Girlfriend Denise, Geologist Bert and quantum physicist Barry Kripke. Reception on this new series so far seems to be decently recieved so far with praise on its premise and choice of characters, though some critiques seem to question if the franchise of Big Bang Theory really needed to expand this far in projects overall, but if you want to see what comes about of this series then you can catch the first episode now on HBO Max with a new episode releasing every Thursday.

Video Games

Splatoon Raiders

The last of the new releases for this week will be the focus of some video game action and it will be returning to the newest IP from the largest gaming company in the world that has not caused major problems currently (unless denying refunding some of their audience with the tariff affects in their lawsuit) but besides all of that we are returning to a land full of all out battles, hybrid creatures and a whole lot of Ink as we are returning to these distinct isles with the release of the newest entry of this popular IP with Splatoon Raiders. This new game will center around a mysterious Mechanic who goes adventuring with Deep Cut research crew to the mysterious Spirhalite Islands and learn of the secrets and more along the way. Reception on this new title in the franchise seems to be well recieved with praise on the visuals, narrative and gameplay elements, though some of the multiplayer elements that are well established in this IP seems a little missing ad people hoped for more with that but I am sure a 4th entry of the all out Multiplayer series will be on the way and if you want to play this for yourself then you can play it now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Avengers Doomsday

So we have a lot of trailers this week and the first of them is a big one that many of us have been wondering and waiting for it to drop some form of footage for this big title still to come from the year and as the countdown and timer continued on, a point in time it stopped to provide a look and a warning of what is to come as after months since those small minute teasers, we finally recieved a trailer for the newest entry of this franchise with Avengers Doomsday. Set 14 months after the events of Thunderbolts*, multiple groups of heroes from different universes, Avengers, Wakandans and New Avengers from 616, Fantastic 4 from 838 and Original X-Men from a Seperate universe - converge to face the existential threat of Doctor Doom. So there has been a lot of speculation and wonder on when we were going to get a proper new look at this after the separate focus on the different groups in the 4 teasers back around Christmas but I am more excited now to see them all team up together again and while I hoped for a little more to see, it does give a fair bit of potential and this one is more appealing to me a bit more over Dune (though I will still watch both of them). Also I don't know if its just me but a certain returning and debated returning member has a distinct look to them but I can't put my finger on it, but overall I am looking forward to checking this out as the countdown clock continues until it releases into cinemas from December 18th.

Other Mommy

The first half of the week has jumped back an forth from action or Heroes to Horror and we are on the focus of the latter for this next one as with this case we are getting a title that we have all had some form of an imaginary friend in some form that can take on a distinct look to them and if not given control or to rid of them they will become a bit too powerful and cause a lot of dark secret to the home to become a lot more sinister as we have the release of the trailer for the new horror known as Other Mommy. Now based on the novel of Incidents around the House (and maybe the famous 2 sentence Horror Story), it will focus on the presence of a Paranormal Entity of 'Other Mommy' that takes on the appearance of a young girls mother, that soon threatens her family and haunts her home with her only request is wanting to be and live in her heart. So I had heard about this film from the Cinemacon event a few weeks ago (as it was this and Doomsdays trailers that they were both shown) and it sounded to me from the outcome that it was giving me some vibes of that 2 Sentence Horror story of "one night as I was in my room, my mom called me from the kitchen down the hall. As I walk down the hall, I'm pulled into the closet and a hand clasped over my mouth to silence me. 'Shh, I heard it too' My mom whispered to me in my ear." And in this case it still gives me that vibe and I may need to read that book cause I heard its quite a tragic book and told from the girls perspective but this from the small glimpse unsettled me and have heard a lot of strong praise on this already but I guess we will see about all of this when the film releases into cinemas from the 9th of October.

Clayface

The next trailer will be combining the elements of Superhero based narratives and the concept of Horror as we will be in the focus of stories from the comics and while this will not be in the focus of the usual heroes, this will be a case of something that will be seen from someone that had it all and was going to be a star before one bad day caused that to all fall apart and will soon see him take form that will see him molded into this perfect creation and for a possible performance of a lifetime as we have recievd the release of the 2nd and full trailer for the upcoming new superhero horror of Clayface. The film will follow Matt Hagan (Tom Rhys Harries), an u-and-coming actor whose face is disfigured by a Gangster. As a form of last resort, Matt turns to a scientist, Dr Caitlin Bates (Naomi Ackie) who transforms his body into clay with some sense of unforeseen consequences. So I mention this as the first of the full trailers as the previous one was a very brief minute long trailer that focused on brief glimpses of what is to come and in this it seems to have been expanded upon in the narrative of visuals and some of this imagery seems very gortesque and stomach turning but done in an interesting way that it feels like a form of the superhero version of the Substance. I am liking what I am seeing and will have to see if this graphic body horror will be something I can stomach as stuff like this may have me collapsed on the cinema screen floor and I hope from this we will get more stories told of the many elaborate or overlooked characters of Batman's Rogues gallery to get a deep interpersonal character study (and not just the usual array of the clown prince of crime, the man of two faces or one that does the brain teasers) but I am looking forward to check this out as it is molded into a masterpiece by its release in cinemas from the 23rd of October.

Resident Evil

The next trailer in focus will be in the realm of some horror once more but in this case we will be heading over to the one bit focus in these trailers this week and that is with the concept of the video game adaptions (though not the only video game related trailer this week) and it will be the case that the world may be familiar, the horrors will be waiting but the person in focus may be unfamiliar but will find themselves in a truly nightmarish night of their lives in the location they need to deliver the job for as we have the release of the 2nd trailer for Zach Creggars take on the popular series of Resident Evil. The film will follow Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who finds himself in a desperate fight for survival against bloodthirsty, mutated creatures and looking to get himself out of this familiar city from the effects of a secret government based virus. Now it seems there is some clear up on what many people though was the initial approach as it reported that it was supposed to take place during the events of RE2 but I think some bits have been cleared up with some of those bits being brought to attention at Comic con for this. Besides that I am still one that is very excited for this take on the franchise as after he proved himself with Weapons and Barbarian I will give them hope with this take on a popular series that is being its own thing and not trying to retell the games stories and the approach with this feeling like RE7 and the lead character feeling like people can relate in their skills with these survival horrors and how its not always going to be a professional and its still be interesting to watch (especially in a breezy 90 mins apparently) but I am sure we will see about all of this when the film is unleashed into cinemas from September 18th.

Coyote vs Acme

The next trailer will be another film in focus like the big film release of this week  where it has had a bit of a rough journey getting here but after nearly being lost to time a hero came to save the day and now the elements of it is perfectly used in the marketing of a title that the corporation of an antagonist at the center of this cartoon courtroom caper as we have the release of the final trailer for the upcoming new Looney Tunes film of Coyote vs ACME. After every product made by the ACME corporation has backfired on Wile. E. Coyote in the pursuit of the Roadrunner, down-and-out billboard attorney Kevin Avery (Will Forte) represents Coyote in a lawsuit against ACME. A growing friendship between Wile and Kevin soon motivates their determination to win this court case, as it pits them against Buddy Crane (John Cena), the intimidating boss of Kevin's former law firm, who now represents ACME. I really appreciate in the sense of things that these characters of the looney tunes are seeing a return in many ways and forms that they have finally gotten their time to shine and I am still glad that the studio of Ketchup Entertainment helped to save this and the Day the Earth Blew up from being shelved and honestly I still think this will be a very entertaining entry overall and I hope this will have a big success and support this title when it becomes unrestricted from the vaults of ACME but I am sure we can see about all of this when the film releases into cinemas in just under a months time on August 21st.

Lanterns

The next trailer is the next focus of some superhero elements and the first of some TV series trailer this week as it will be time in due course that no matter the brightest day and the blackest night that the sense of evil won't escape this duo's sight and it will be worth seeing if they have what it takes to solve this secret cosmic ordeal as we have the release of the final for the upcoming new DCU project of Lanterns. The series will follow members of the lantern corps, a group of heroes and intergalactic peacekeepers given extraordinary powers from powerful rings. This will follow two of those members of experienced Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and new recruit Jon Stewart (Arron Pierre) as they are tasked to investigate a murder in a small town in Nebraska, which soon leads them to darker mysteries and reckonings. So it has been seen that as the trailers for this series have released that they have improved peoples opinions on the series as initially the first trailer underwhelmed people in the case it was lacking the colour Green and some other aspects (I mean there is other Lantern Corps that are not the colour Green) but then it saw some improvement with the next trailer and it seems with this one it has found its focus and giving more of an insight about the mysterious mystery in that small rural town, more of the dynamic of the 2 leads as well as Hal's Legacy and backstory and some other bits in this has a fair amount of appeal and I am very interested and hope this will turn out as a decent watch overall but I am sure we can see what will come of it when this new series takes flight onto HBO Max from the 16th of August.

Ebenezer

The next trailer is the last of the film focused one this week and in this case this is probably a title release we probably are not really thinking of this early in its setting and that is the area of the festive holiday season (though with this heatwave I yearn for some cold) but it looks like we are getting another take on an overly done take of this famous story with this new take being made by one with quite the trilogy of crazy titles and the return of a beloved character actor playing the famous figure of this story as Ti West comes from his X trilogy to bring a new take on a Christmas classic as we have release of the trailer for Ebenezer. This of course will be a new take on the Christmas Carol from Charles Dickens and will tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge (Johnny Depp) a grouchy and wealthy old man who will soon learn to change his ways when on Christmas Eve Night will be visited by 3 spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future that will show his life and learn to change his way overall. The combination of Depp and Ti West is quite the interesting one but given that they are well respected in their different crafts will be interesting to see and I am excited to see Depp's return to a big film after years since being accused of some malicious offences that were proven in court to be mostly fabricated and while we have seen this story done to death, I will give this a look all the same and we can do so when this new take releases into cinemas from the 13th of November.

Wolverine

The next of the trailers and the only gaming trailer we have for this week will also be the last of the superhero focus as in this case we have seen many takes of this character across about 2 decades of film, comics and shows and we have seen a bit of some interactive material with this one too but after many years being one of the playable characters of fighting games or similar, it will soo be time for the claws to come out as the lead as we have the trailer from comic con from the upcoming title from Insomniac games with their take on Wolverine. Set in the same universe as their Spider-Man titles, the game will follow James "Logan" Howlett, an amnesiac mutant who rejoins Team-X after leaving 3 years prior to help investigate the abduction of displaced mutants by industrialist Bolivar Trask and the Reavers Militia, while also searching for answers regarding his own past. It has been a long journey for this game with this first being announced back in 2021 on the same day as the Spider-Man sequel and getting to see a new take on this character has been long overdue in a game of his own (the last one I remember was the X-Men Origins game which was something that was way better then the actual film) and even through some leaks and delays it is almost upon us and I think this looks like this will be a great title (and one that I hope will see the approach of many people buying this physically to really stick it to Sony for their really bad decision of stopping physical Media) and it will be worth playing when this game releases on the PS5 from September 15th.

Avatar Seven Heavens

The 2nd last trailer for this week will be a return to the universe that also connects to the big film of the week as it looks like the world of the elements and the one that has the power to control them all is seeing more stories and tales being told even further into the future with new heroes and legacies to forge as we return to the world of elements with the trailer for the new series of Avatar: Seven Havens. The series will follow on from the events of the Legend of Korra and will follow a new Earthbender, Pavi, who discovers is the next Avatar and descendant of Korra. Hunted by enemies both of human and spirit form, she and her long lost twin must uncover their strange origins and save the seven Havens, the central pillars of civilization risen from a world shattered by an apocalyptic event, before it is too late, with the Avatar seen as a destroyer rather then a savior. It really is appealing and appreciative that they are still making the efforts in evolving the narrative overall in the form of making new tales and legacies of the world across the generations and giving some new takes on the world and a sense of mystery too and from what I can see of this it all looks very appealing. Now it will have to be a case of giving some time to watch the 2 series again before this arrives but I am sure we can see in due course and hope this will be another success with the series set to premiere on Paramount+ form the 9th of October.

Blade Runner 2099

The last of the trailers for this week will be taking us a fair bit into the far future for this narrative as it will be the focus on the overall narrative that started many years ago of how they would see the world from a few years ago and from how that narrative and its follow up ended, this could be the answer and the reason of the overall downfall as we wrap up the trailers this week with the first official trailer for the upcoming limited series based on the popular sci-fi duology with Blade Runner 2099. Set 50 years after the events of 2049, the series will be set in 2099 Los Angeles, a place in disarray following a replicant uprising where Replicants are now the power brokers of the city and humans are treated as second class citizens. Olwen (Michelle Yeoh) a replicant Blade Runner is nearing the end of her life and will soon reunite with her partner Cora (Hunter Schaffer), a human pretending to be a replicant to hunt down a gang of rogue replicants. It is an interesting approach with this franchise as this seems to pop up every few years in concept from the original and its many rereleases in various cuts, to comics, video games, short character narratives and then a sequel that was very well recieved but underperformed (but going off the release it had a lot of potential in the area of memes) but I can see in this that this could be a very interesting entry and I am very intrigued in the overall building of the world and in most case I can also wonder if the last film will have some elements that led to this uprising, but I am still very excited to check this out when it releases on Amazon Prime from November 25th.

News to Save the Universe

News of surprise returns, building items and other things including comics

So I was initially going to have 2 separate stories this week with the 2nd focused on some of the big Comic Con news, but there was a surprising lack of big stories bar one or 2 release dates and some small bits with marvel so I felt it may have been best to lump it all together with this serving of the hodge podge of various cuisine and some that you would find from the array of options at some of these conventions but we can sample the delicacies as we get into the focus of them all so let us delve in and see whats on offer from this week.

Given the week it is we may as well start with the focus of the comic con news and in this case we don't have a lot to really delve on as we have some small announcements from marvel and one other project release announcement and we will start with Marvel who was going to be a focus of a massive event on Saturday evening for this event, but most mainly focused about a new clip of Brand New Day, the audience seeing the line up of the Doomsday cast, an appearance by Deadpool himself possibly teasing an appearance in Doomsday, and the importance of the upcoming re-release of Endgame in September, it was not all stuff that we knew was coming as there was 2 big announcements and each I have my thoughts on and we will start with the case that things will be getting a lot more hot, extreme and fast as it will be time to rev up the flaming motorcycle and prepare for the spirit of Vengeance to return as they announced that we are getting an all new film based on the popular character of Ghost Rider and we know who will be the flaming vigilante as it was unveiled that Project Hail Mary star Ryan Gosling will be portraying the character and most case in the form of Johnny Blaze (I say this as there is like 4 iterations of the character) and will be helmed by Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn levy. Now I see this as a solid announcement and it has been a film and character he has campaigned for years to portray so I am all for it..... however, I hate to bring this up but if I recall, we have a Ghost Rider already established in the MCU for about a decade at this point with Gabriel Luna portraying the version of Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider during the events of Agents of Shield's 4th season. Now I know to some that may know the ordeal of this that Agents of Shield's canonicity to the MCU is a little all over the place but I think for a large marjority is canon as it takes places after certain films and even alludes to other bits like Avengers, Thor the Dark World, Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron (Coulson unlocked the system to get the helicarrier to aid in the Sokovia evacuation), Civil War and even Infinity War that I feel its canon, its just the last 2 seasons that make it confusing, plus they also planned a tv series for Luna's take ont he character years ago that was confirmed canon so I have no idea if that is still happening or was reworked into this. I do hope in anything that we will see them both appear as I feel like with every other character in the comics thy have their different variants so maybe it can happen and it feels they may be planning a build up to a Midnight Suns film or series and making the next saga in the focus of supernatural or Mutants but I guess we will see. Either way I am intrigued to see the approach and we will see the full picture when it releases in the summer of 2028.

The other big announcement of the event was one that was expected to be unveiled at some point (but I was also expecting them to confirm that Nova project was real from the leaked listing a few days earlier as well as releasing a trailer for Vision Quest but there is always D23 in about 3 weeks) but we did have one other project announcement and it has been a while since we have been to this place but it looks like we are returning back to the land of Wakanda real soon as it was announced that the 3rd film of Black Panther is happening, will be shot on film and will also have a confirmed release date of December 15th 2028 and also confirmed that Coogler will be back as director and Leitia Wright will be back as Shuri / Black Panther. Now this could be where it is all well and done but it looks like they will be given the approach of what they initially were not going to do but that was with the focus of recasting and in this case its not really a recasting of the original but of the legacy they left behind as at the event they also confirmed that Alien Romulus actor David Jonsson will be the next person to take the mantle of the Black Panther and will portray the older version of T'Challa and Nikia's child T'Challa the 2nd with this film focusing on his growth into becoming the symbol of the ancestors. Now I think the casting choice is great and all but there is a part of me that feels that this will sort of undermine the whole purpose of Shuri's arc in Wakanda Forever of becoming the Black Panther after the sudden passing of T'Challa and I hope they will both have the mantle and not have her give up the role to them (which I guess is just a lot of these people online being mad about female superheroes in general cause they are not providing enough for them to gawk at) but I do hope they will have their chance with both of them and build to a satisfying finale of a trilogy but I guess we can see by its release in December 2028.

And just to wrap up on the stories I could find from the event, we have one other release date announcement that will be changing the rules of the game, cause it never specified that a certain animal cannot play basketball as it was announced at the convention that the follow up of the original Air Bud has gotten a release date and will be hitting the court of cinemas from the 22nd of January next year. Now this was quite a surprise reveal from last years convention as this series has had plenty of focus throughout the years since the original, mainly in a lot of spin offs focused on the pups of Air Bud I think but maybe they don't have as much a focal connection. I am sure there will some form of a story that will bring this good boy back to the sport and all other means but I am sure we will get an idea of it with the eventual release of the trailer and its release into cinemas come January.

moving outside of comic con but staying with the release dates, this next one I believe was announced a little while ago but I don't recall if I confirmed the next release date as it will be time to return to the realm of the gods for this half god himself as it was confirmed that the 3rd season for the new take on Percy Jackson and the Olympians now has a release date with it set to debut from the 20th of November. Now I am not sure which book they will be focusing on next but from most of the footage and clips they have focused on recently it will be given a perspective of him taking the reigns of Atlus and having the world on his shoulders, but maybe I need to get up to speed on some of this knowledge before it drops. It seems to have been a bit of s success and whether it will have some viewership on the day its dropping as to the day after a massive media release will be up to debate but I guess we can see by its release this November.

But speaking of gods and legends and fighting against some powerful beings, where we may just see an adaption being focused on just watching it, this one will be more in the interactive form (and having a bunch of people getting mad cause the lead is not the familiar ghost himself) as it was late this week we finally got the release date of the upcoming new entry of the God of War Series with Laufey now set for release from the 16th of February next year. Now many are surprised by this reveal and release as it was only early last month they unveiled the project with a solid 20 minutes of the opening gameplay, but its a case this title has been in development for a fair few years now according to writer on the title and YouTube Alanah Pearce so the likes of it being close to being set to drop makes total sense (and in all case of things it has been 5 years since Ragnarok) so I am interested to give this a try and for those to not judge the title from the outset and not be close minded of being games of the same old large muscular dude as it can get overdone. Either way I am looking forward to trying this out and also hope this will also have a physical disc but I guess we will see how this all plays about in due time by this titles release come February next year.

speaking of video games, where we had the focus of an interactive title last time, we move to projects itself for some new focus on some of the more adaption based focus as we have some news of some new titles getting the film treatment as it was announced during the week that Atari has signed a deal with Universal for the focus of creating 10 film projects based on some of their well known entries of the past which will be in focus on Asteroids, Adventure, Berzerk, Breakout, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Millipede, Missile command, Pong and Mars! Revenge. Now some of these I am sure will have some ways of working but a few of them like Pong or Asteroids is quite the big stretch for making some projects into full films. In most sense with some like that I can see they may try in a similar approach to that series of Next Level on Amazon of some new takes on those projects, like the infamous Pac Man Episode that they may work that way, but any other version is currently unclear on their approach and will have to be seen what they do with them to make them into full length films. I guess we will see in due time as this is all early days, but if there is any new updates about this I will provide them in a later episode. 

On the basis of another project announcement, this next one was a surprise reveal to be happening as there was a sense for a while that it was a one and done thing or from the initial run and reception this title go that it was dead and buried where it stood, but it looks like we were a bit too quick to judge on that as earlier this week we got the surprise announcement that we are getting a sequel to the cult classic film of Jennifer's Body with the film set to film as early as this October. Most other news to this is that it may be possibly confirmed that original star Megan Fox will be back for this follow up, and her female co-lead of Amanda Seyfried may also be coming back for this film as well, though it has not been fully confirmed as of yet. Now the reason I say I was surprised with this follow up as the original was well known back then as being a sort of Commercial failure and got mixed reception when it initially came out, but since then it has garnered quite a bigger following and the discussion that the film failed due to the really messy marketing for the film that focused mainly on Fox's Sex appeal then on the films themes itself but I am sure if its a case that this gets the go ahead in being a proper sequel that they will properly market the film better this time around. Now at the moment we have no idea on what we could expect from this follow up and any other aspects of the project, but if there is any new updates to all of this I will provide it in a new episode.

The last of the project announcements is not really an announcement but a little bit of a small casting update on a recently announced project as there has been a little bit of a shake up in terms of an initial locked in casting as it was announced on Wednesday of this week that Jennifer Aniston has had to drop out of starring in the upcoming series adaption of Jennette McCurdy's memoir I'm Glad my Mom Died with the reason for this being due to some scheduling conflicts affecting the planned filming aspects of things. Now in this case she was the only known casting for this project and was set to portray McCurdy's Late mother but now with her dropping out it is unclear on what the approach is for this series now and if they have someone else in mind already for the role (and the case I will have to see if Aniston is still set to be an Executive Producer alongside Showrunner, Writer and Exec Producer of McCurdy). I am sure they have some other people in mind and in the case they will still need to cast for Jennette's role as well but I guess we will have to find out as they either rework to fit her schedule or find a new replacement, but if I hear anything new on this I will provide it in a later episode.

to wrap up all of the stories for this week is with a return to a focus of an item that gets brought up now and again when they opportunity arises to talk on some pieces like this and it is time to talk once more on some new sets and unveiled confirmations from early rumours and leaks from the popular Brand of LEGO. Now we have 3 sets in focus to discuss on this week that will be the in the ordeal and each has their own distinct genre and approach to the project and we will start with one that seems to be announced in perfect timing with a recently unveiled buildable Pinball machine as it looks like we are back to the arcade for this week and will go well with that dot eating yellow sphere as they unveiled the next classic arcade machine build in the form of the original Donkey Kong which will have quite a bit of interactivity akin to the Pac-Man machine with moving characters and actual avoidable hazard with the oil barrels that you jump over in the game itself and the concept of it is really cool. Now the set will be dropping on the first of August and will come in with a price of about €170, which seems to be coming in at a much cheaper price then the first arcade machine, but either way it will look real nice beside it. But then from going from Arcade machine to wanting to believe what is out there, we will be getting a little more sci-fi as while we have some other new sets we never mentioned like the iconic 80s alien of ET getting one around the same time, this will be more of investigating the otherworldly ordeals that are out there as after initially leaking, they unveiled we are getting a new set based on the classic 90s series of the X-Files that will be an interesting diorama of a secret investigative facility below with some familiar faces and then at the top will focus on Muller and Scully learning the truth on the extra terrestrial with the Grey Alien and its massive UFO floating above in focus at the top and honestly this works very well as a cool diorama set itself with this set also dropping from the 1st of August but with a slightly higher price tag of €200. The last one will be heading to the bottom of the sea for this one as after initially having a few waves back in mid/late 2000s, early 2010s, it looks like we are back to find out who lives in that pineapple under the sea as after being rumoured months back, it was finally unveiled last week that the massive new version of the LEGO Spongebob set was revealed in the form of Conch Street. This will consist of the Pineapple, Squidward's tiki house and Patrick's Rock as well as those minifigs plus Gary and Doodlebob, a jellyfishing area and boat car and it was about time for it to make a return. Now this will be coming a little later and dropping September 1st with a higher price of €210 but I hope this will have some success and provide more affordable setsand bring this theme back in the near future but I guess we will see. A lot of these do sound great and I hope we will see what else will come from this company but only time will tell on that instance.
