Well hello to each and every single one of you across the media landscape and the information superhighway, my name is Sam and as always I welcome you all to another edition of my weekly series of Weird Mind News Room where for another week we will be back to provide a new wave of new Releases, Trailers and News Stories from the last week to talk all about to you on things you may have missed, but lets not waste the time here and lets get right into talking on all things media for another week.

Movies

The Death of Robin Hood

On the first of the new releases for this week is in the focus to a character and story that we have heard many forms and tales of in the various ways from the animated, the comedic and the serious, but the one side of things that we never tell of this person of many a tall tale was on how it all ended for them which is how this story will bring us to tell this time as we have the release of the all new film from A24 with The Death of Robin Hood. Grappling with his Violent Past, Robin Hood (Hugh Jackman) finds himself gravely injured after a battle that he thought would be his last. He soon gets a chance at salvation when he meets a mysterious woman and a young girl who take him in and heal his wounds. Reception on this new film has been mixed to decently recieved with praise on the performances, particularly of Jackman's portrayal of the famous bandit, the production and concept take on the approach to the character, though it falls flat in being a worthy send off to the character to some degree, but if you want to see where his story ends then you can catch it now in cinemas.

Leviticus

Now this next film is one that focuses to the ideals of taking the focus of another approach of mixing a sense of love and romance with the genre of Horror as what would happen if some ordeals of ones consequence create a sense of uncertainty in who to trust for one that someone wants the most, well that is what will be in focus here as we have the release of the new coming of age horror known as Leviticus. The film will follow 2 teens who will try to escape from a violent entity that takes on the form of the person they desire most - which in this case is each other. Reception on the film has been very well recieved with praise on the concept and performances with a sense of a dark theme connected to a real world practice that is seen as quite dark in retrospect and seen as one of this years best horrors and if you want to check it out for yourself then you can catch this also out now in cinemas.

The Runner

The last of the films for this week will be seeing a focus to the overall ideals that how far the ditance one will go to save someone they care for in anyway, no matter how fast they will run to do so against the clock as we have the release of the all new film known as the Runner. During her Routine morning run, a high-powered London Lawyer (Gal Gadot) receives a phone call from a mysterious man who claims to have her son. Forced to sprint through the city and obey a series of Sinister commands, she must keep moving, follow every command and tell no one - or her son will die. Reception on this film however has not been the most praised and has been hit with a lot of negative reception mainly aimed at the performance of the main lead herself as well as feeling a little too overly familiar in stories we have seen before and been seen as one of this years most disliked films, near akin to War of the Worlds last year, but if you want to check it out for yourself then you can play it now on Amazon Prime.

TV Shows

The Gentleman Season 2

On the one tv series for this week will be bringing us back to the world and series that started off as a film that turned itself into a proper series that will show the ideals that there is plenty of ways and ideals to bring you into high society, but sometimes there is a case that therewill be a level that Ambition will have a form that comes with a cost as we are back with the release of the 2nd season of the Guy Ritchie film turned series of The Gentleman. Set a year after the events of Season one and of Eddie and Susie joining forces to work together in Eddies criminal underworld overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound and now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well. Reception on this 2nd season seems to be well received and seen as an improvement currently over the first season with praise on the narrative, performances and for evolving the world first established in the film and if you want to check it out for yourself then you can watch it now on Netflix.

Video Games

Orbitals

Heading over now to the gaming side of this week and as we head into the fall season, it will be time to see a lot of titles start to make their presence known and this first one will be one that you will be teaming up with a friend to take a trip to the far reaches of the cosmos for some far out and vibrant cosmic adventure as we have the release of the all new title known as Orbitals. In this title, you and a friend will take control of Maki and Omura, two space explorers who must work together to stop a space station from being destroyed by a deadly storm using powerful weapons and tools to stop a major calamity. Reception on this new title has been very well recieved with praise on the narrative, the beautiful visuals and the very fuctional co-op gameplay that can be a little heavy at points but is another solid title to play with a friend and if you are up for a cosmic adventure then you can play it now on the Nintendo Switch 2. 

Onimusha The way of the Sword

Then moving from the cosmic to the ancient past, it will then be in focus to prepare to learn the ways of the blade and prepare to do battle and bring peace to a corrupted world as we are returning to a world and IP that has been dormant for quite a bit of time as we have finally gotten the release of the new title of Onimusha Way of the Sword. Seen as a follow on to Dawn of Dreams, the game will see you control Miyamoto Musashi, a samurai who will be exploring a dark fantasy version of Kyoto during the Edo period, as you battle against other swordsmen, demons and other supernatural threats while trying to figure out about a powerful gauntlet attached to your arm that consumes the souls of your fallen rivals. Reception on this new title has been seeing some very strong praise with praise to the narrative, the gameplay, characters and visuals and seen as one of this years best titles to play and if you are ready to learn of the ways of the sword then you can play it now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC.

Blood of the Dawnwalker

The last of the titles for this week will be another title from the focus to the past and a bit to the present where the last title focus on legacy of a culture, this one focused more to the realm of folklore and seeing that a curse will last a long time and how long you will go for revenge while keeping the bloodlust in check as we return to another IP series in focus with the release of the title of The Blood of DawnWalker. Set in the 14th Century Europe, where a deadly plague has weakened human rulers and allows a powerful Vampire named Brenisus to conquer the region. You will take control of Coen, who ends up becoming a Dawnwalker - a human by day and a vampire by night and must find a way to stop this rule within 30 days before the control of your sanity becomes corrupted. Reception on this new title has been very well recieved with praise on the gameplay, non linear narrative aspects of it all and for the level of difficulty and being a worthy new addition to the series and if you want to walk amongst the mortals then you can play it now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Street Fighter

Moving to the trailers and we will be starting this week with a topic and trend we have seen a fair bit lately (and from a topic I talked on about 3 years ago) but it will be time to gather some of the worlds best fighters in order to train and become part of one of the biggest tournaments in the world and prove their worth in who will be the best of the best while also bringing a return to a friendship lost to the past to stop a greater evil as it will soon be time to fight as we have the release of the 2nd trailer for the upcoming new video game film adaption of Street Fighter. The film will see estranged street fighters of Ryu and Ken Masters get thrown back into the world of combat when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next world warriors tournament -- A brutal clash of fists, fate and fury. However behind the battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons from their past. So the last time we had talked on this project was back before the release of the other fighting game adaption of Mortal Kombat 2 that was not a bad adaption and was a decent time that had its flaws and while I remember this first being teased in footage at the game awards and was a little underwhelmed in that focus, after seeing these 2 trailers with more better footage I feel this could be a lot more of a better improvement to the original film of the 90s and prequel title from 2009 (though I doubt it will reached the iconic cheesiness of the 90s film) and from the looks of the characters, despite its crazy elaborate cast, it does look like this could be a real fun time and I am a lot more intrigued in checking it out and thankfully its not too long away from release either to see how it turns out as this fight and tournament will begin in cinemas from the 16th of October.

Harry Potter HBO Season 1

On the next of the trailers is the only one in focus in relation to the TV streaming side for this week and it is one that I have made my points clear on for many different weeks in the focus on this new adaption take but in this case they were timing it in the return of the new term period has started and more many its a return from a long break to more education (at least some get a break) but in this case its a familiar story giving a much extended series look as it will be a return to a land of magic as we have once again gotten a trailer for the all new TV series adaption of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Of course this season will be based on the original first novel in the series that will see a young boy named Harry who lives with his neglectful and abusive aunt Petunia and Uncle Dursley will discover that his long deceased parents were magical wizards and he is one as well and will see him whisked away to a place known as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he will make new friends, enemies and learn of some many new secrets of the wizarding world and of the truth of his identity of the Boy who lived. If you have followed the episodes for the last little bit or even for a bit of time when this was first announced, you know that I see this adaption as being a bit unnecessary, especially with these first 3 books as I feel they covered near everything in those books in the films from the early 2000s and sure maybe it can work more to put in all the details those films left out or really more for the likes of the 4th, 5th and 6th books to cover it all but I really just say its unnecessary to reboot this so soon or if at all. Of course I also bring up the author that shall not be named and her remarks on those that transition (and will be one that will say that I support them) and use her platform for vile comments (and also question if posting a photo of a woman named Freda Wallace that is a bit NSFW could be a possible criminal offence) and just want to really support the IP too much (and I know I played the Hogwarts Legacy Game but I know if that become a means of making a profit on my YT then I will use it to give to the charities that support the group she is not a fan of). Anyways I have gotten off topic and don't mean to be spiteful or hateful as I don't want to be, there is other reasons for my opinion on this but maybe will save for another time and we will see the outcome of this when the new series drops on HBO sometime this Christmas.

Focker in Law

The last of the trailers for this week is more in the area of family matters and ideals that we have all experienced in some way shape or form that we have in some form had a point of meeting someone and bringing them home to meet the family and the outcomes on how people will care or respond to ones partner can have a various outcome and in this case, it may be how it once as the case for this father figure with their partners dad and now will be his turn to deal with this ordeal as after about 15 years since the last title we have recieved a 2nd trailer for the 4th film in this series with a new look at Focker in Law. The film will see Greg Focker's (Ben Stiller) Son, Henry (Skyler Gisondo), bring his Girlfriend (Ariana Grande), a trained FBI Hostage negotiator, home to meet the family, however Greg soon begins to get worried when Henry tells everyone that he plans to propose to her and he feels that there is something that doesn't really seem right about it. So the likes of this series has had it share of ups and downs but there is something that has a bit of an appeal and some good comedy with the likes of the cast of Deniro and Stiller playing off one another and now it seems there is another big name looking to be a major focus in this title in the form of Ariana Grande that while I can say that I can mention about some other elements, I will not do that and say I am intrigued to see how she will tackle a somewhat comedic film series overall after I felt she worked decently well with Wicked but didn't blow me away massively but they may be keeping a lot of charm and appeal for later. Overall it doesn't look too bad and I am interested to see on what it will turn out overall and I am sure we will see when we are back meeting the in-laws when the film releases into cinemas from the 25th of November.

A conference that won't cause problems: State of Play announcements

So it is another week and another focus in the realm of the many different conferences and topics of the world of Video games and while we had the focus of the event of Gamescom last week that was a little underwhelming, we are heading over to the first likely studio centric conference and this comes with the currently controversial company of Sony and PlayStation with a new edition of the State of Play that took play early on Thursday that was a 2 in one of a normal and one focused on titles from Japan based studios, but in this case I will cover the ones from the main conference and may come back to the Japan one in the future, but we have about 20 titles to talk on what was shown (and one will be moved to the other story of this week) that has a bit of a mixed response (compared to all the comments on the live chat that I would most case agree with on the physical media aspect) but let us delve into and see what was shown across a 40 minute conference.

So in all ways for this conference to start with, this was probably the least likely aspect that I expected they would start with and that they gave a focus of an extended clip at the upcoming new take on the Resident Evil film being written and directed by Weapons director Zach Creggar with the scene focused on the clips of the trailer of Zombies falling from above and smashing hard on the ground and the abandoned vehicles as out main character makes a dash from getting attacked or soaked in a blood bath and I will say its an interesting approach to the title and the scene is done very well that I am intrigued to see the methods that they will be approach with like the camera work that will make it look like you are playing the games themselves but I am sure we can see that more when they release this film in 2 weeks on September 18th in cinemas.

One other title that was in focus that is out the same week as the first clip shown was given to us with a look at the final trailer for the upcoming new Wolverine title from Insomniac that has looked and seems to be playing properly well and seems like it could be another solid title from this studio. Now there has been some debate and ordeal of drama but many complaining about the character design of the female characters in this game, mainly with Mystique and Jean but this is the common complaint by many people with western studios female character designs when they can look a little more real to those we may see in a normal day to day then the likes of the overly similar and possibly sexualized look seen from western studios, but overall I think they look great and I am excited to give this a try when the game releases from September 15th.

For this next title is one that has already released already about a year ago but in this case it will be back with some new content and that is with a recently announced complete edition of Ghost of Yoteí that comes with 2 new DLC projects of Echoes of Sekigahara that will focus on the past of Atsu as well as their time and experience on the battle of Sekigahara in a massive narrative expansion and then a horde mode known as Most wanted as you choose any of the known characters across the 2 titles that can be seen as a worthy challenge and worth fleshing out more of the title that could be worth trying with this edition coming out on October 1st.

Then it was another title getting a form of expansion coming real soon with the focus of the all new addition to Monster Hunter Wilds with Ascendance that will see you and your team of hunters heading to the place high above the sky and do battle and take down some very powerful creatures hiding amongst the islands in the sky and it is for sure being a decent aspect of the world in focus to explore more of these titles and improve more to a game that had a little bit of a mixed outcome at first but I am sure we can see of it by its release sometime next year.

It was then time for another new look at the gameplay of the next entry of the popular Metro series with 2039 that was a focus of some more stealth based elements and some of the high end visuals and designs that you will expect from the performance mode of the title on PS5 and it does seem like its improving upon some elements from the last title and could be worth trying real soon and now thankfully we have a date set for the upcoming title with this new entry set to release on February 4th next year.

Then you thought it was safe to go back into the water, it looks like one of the deadliest creatures is back for another bit at satisfying their hunger as they announced at this conference with a sequel to the oftern overlooked title of Maneater that will see you take the role of the deadly great white and cause chaos and bloodshed at this massive new reort of Neptune's Kingdom and will have you evolve into powerful new moves and do extreme attacks and oddly smooth looking parkour moves that make this sequel bigger then ever of a beloved first title and I am sure it will be fun to be the terror of the tides again with this game set for release in 2027.

Then while I skipped talking on this last week as it was a focus on the complete edition of the game, this time there is something to talk on as they announced an all new massive expansion for the title of Crimson Desert in the form of Charting the unknown as you set off across the high seas to a new and mysterious lands found in the far off reaches of Pywel and learn to overcome and deal with some new challenges and shape their future in the process and it seems like their is a fair sense of appeal to it all and I will need to give this title a try and I am sure it will be worth to do so when the title's new expansion is set to release from the 15th of October.

Probably the only one with a bit of a retro look to it all for this event was taking us back to where the series for all of this began as we got another new look at the upcoming new remake of the HD-2D version of the original Final Fantasy with Resonance that will of course see the original title given the updated treatment akin to the first 3 Dragon Quest titles from a few months back and it seems like they are adding some elements of the later games including some characters from the title of Final Fantasy 7 and it does seem like an interesting approach and may be worth trying on the game where the series all began with its release onto the systems from the 22nd of October.

Then it was time to get suited up and prepare to take the battle to them in the power mech armour as we got an all new look at the newest game of Metal suit Gundam with Rogue Orbit that will see you suit up in your own gundam mech and take part in high octane action against powerful adversaries and creatures across a new elaborate narrative and I can say that these Gundam titles have a lot of appeal and all out action packed focus over the years that I am sure this will be the same and now thankfully we know when you can suit up to do battle with the game now set for release on March 4th next year.

We then got a focus to the section of the Indie Game side of things for this event with the first of the 3 games given a focus was a game known as Hunters Moon where it will be a new First person folklore horror where you must evade and get to safety in a place full of hunters, witches and other enemies after being accused of being a witch yourself and must escape to prove your innocence and while it has been kept very vague in the image and look but it does sound like an interesting title to try with this game not far from release with it set to drop now close to the spooky month on October 26th.

The 2nd of the indie games that were given a focus to everything in the conference was the reveal of a new title of Uncanyon that will be a new puzzle title where you will play the role of Sonia who finds themselves in strange world being folded in on itself from a mix of different universes colliding and will see puzzles that will twist and bend reality and I am very interested to see what will come from this when it releases sometime next year.

Then coming from the outcome of the shakeups at a competitor studio and for them going indie once again, the recent new title from Double Fine with Keeper is making its way to PlayStation that will see you become a sentient Lighthouse and go on a strange and odd journey with a colourfully odd Bird companion and it seems like a very trippy game that seems like the norm with Double Fine and in this case it was the only game besides the odd demo or so to see it release on the day of the event.

Then we are back with another title that was first teased or discussed in an earlier State of play with a focus of the game of Rev.Noir that is an all new Anime based title with a story focus that give an idea of the game involved where you will play as 2 different characters as you plan to stop the Lightfall, a calamity that brings death to all that it touches and will discover a fate they neither expected as they head off to save the world. It does look like it will appeal to those fans of many different series in general and will be interesting to see the full title with its release sometime next year.

The last of the anime style titles in the main showcase came in the form of a new title known as Rhapsody in Scarlet that will be set in the 1920s New York and have you play as Magnus Ellie Myers and head out on a journey to confront a threat that could shake the world and the setting and some of the visuals did look really interesting and I am intrigued in some form to see what will come of this title in particular and could be worth trying out when we get more of a look to the title and its eventual release sometime in the near future.

This next little section is mainly on titles that are coming to PS Plus and some updates to a few titles that already released but I will at least acknowledge the new update stuff with the first being a focus to a new update for the recently released Saros with a focus of a new boss rush mode, new methods and loadouts and a official release of a New Game Plus that many titles will eventually get and its a case I need to get around to giving this title a try and for those that have the game you will be able to try the new update when it drops later this year.

The other title given a bit of a focus is with an all new update to the Gran Turismo 7 title that mainly focuses on an update known as Spec 4 that will be dropping in 2 updates that will be some new circuits, 12 new cars, challenges, modes and features across the title and I am sure there is some appeal to this title still to this day but we can see what will come of this update by its release in 2 parts, the first dropping next month and Part 2 in December.

At least there was one of the titles from the last showcase reveal that surprised me with getting another new look and that came in the form of an all new look at the gameplay and narrative of the sequel to Until Dawn with this new one seeing a group of young paranormal investigator influencers striking it big with the network and getting their own show and the affects of being sent to an island full of dark secrets and consequences will be interesting to see in how the choices the player make will see who lives or dies. Now they also show a snippet of a point that we will be back on the Blackwood Mountain again and the Wendigo makes some form of an appearance (it is unclear if its one of the Miners that may have survived or its one of the cast from the first game confirming a canonicity of one of the 3 endings) but I am intrigued to see that I know its a supposed non connected sequel bar an appearance by Dr Hill but I hope we get answers to some elements the remake added in like with Sam's PTSD post credit scene (and I also hope they give a special in memorial to Hayden Panettiere as she passed away a few days ago as of writing) but I guess we can speculate and theorize before its release which is now confirmed to be dropping from the 28th of January next year.

It seems that with any version of these state of plays, more often then not in recent versions they will come along with a new piece of hardware to be showed off and in this case, we got another pair of controllers with them being designed on the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 with 2 controllers in either Black or White with some small subtle details in the design of the controllers, coming off the heels of the extended gameplay reveal last week and the recently announced Wolverine console and controller skins prior to that but it seems there will be some appeal for those that will want it and I think it can work best to sell with the game but for those that want a new controller they are available from the same day as the game on November 19th in limited quantities.

And to wrap up the main conference in the likes of the titles in focus was with an all new look once more at the upcoming 3rd and final part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake of Revelation that will show a little more of the narrative of the whole team coming together to stop Sephiroth and the oncoming Asteroid storm from destroying the world with a small trailer at first before a 10 minute in depth look at what to expect with this 3rd part that I am sure with a focus and work overall will be a decent title that thankfully now has garnered a release date with it dropping for all consoles and PC from the 8th of April next year.

And that was all that was shown in focus to the recent State of play that was not too bad, better then the Gamescom in titles but I felt it was still a little light in exciting projects. I was surprised in all sense to still see a lack of footage on the Code Veronica Remake and even in all sense I was expecting at least some footage of the new God of War title that is coming out in February but maybe there is another conference with them by the end of the year (or in most case will be at the Game Awards). Now of course this also is the first overall PlayStation showcase (bar Phantom Blade) to drop after their decision to stop Physical Disc production in 2028 and it seems from a lot of methods from an extended Blackout to every comment section of their videos and posts being bombarded about the decision that they seem to act like its majorly been declining for years but they are only accounting the extra DLC, indie games and expansions that will cost a lot on the store (plus their big titles never go on sale digitally so thats also another issue) and it seems there is still going to be that issue and from a lot of other means like the increased pricing on the console and the very cynical emails and labels going around, its hard to trust them and see their appeal drop immensely but I guess thats how its going to be. I guess we will see what the other big conference from the longer running studio will have but we will check that next week.

Building to some new projects one brick at a time

So this weeks content of news stories was very light actually and was initially just going to be a focus mainly on the Gaming conference, but I delved a little deeper and there is something I can talk about and that is with popular building product of LEGO because we have a few of them to talk on from the recently announced and even to one or 2 that may be rumoured that I will at least bring up that has some sense of interest to them overall that will have some appeal and interest in different means.

So I will start with one that I will actually skipped in the last story as I felt it would work better to talk on it in this story and it seems that we have had our share of buildable tech items in the past from the Super Nintendo, Genesis, and even recently with the Gameboy (as well as there being a megablocks take on the original and 360 consoles of the XBOX) but it looks like the last of the 3 big gaming titans is getting one for themselves as after initially being rumoured and then images leaking a few days in advance, during the recent state of Play they finally unveiled that a LEGO version of the Original PlayStation will be on its way. Now the item itself will be based on the original model that comes with the build, the original Dualshock with out the Analog Stick, functioning buttons and lights and will also have a dual pull out diorama that are found and placed easily in the console that shows a display of both the orignal Gran Turismo and Ape Escape, which I wouldn't say would be my first choice in display and would say more to Crash, Spyro or Metal Gear (but I am sure some of these Master Builders will make it work) but overall a decent looking design. Now the set does have a confirmed release and price with the building Dropping real soon from the 1st of October and will come in with a price of €160 which is quite a more affordable version of these consoles then the likes of the Super Nintendo were but maybe its around the same price (I just go off the more higher prices to buy them on 2nd hand sites) but it could be nice to have alongside the actual console or the other LEGO tech builds but I am sure we can see by its release next month.

But speaking of, we have a cracking good build coming to us on the same day as the previous set and this one has been rumoured and hinted at for a while now that started in the place where many of these unique and colourful concepts (and some I wish would be like the Mystery Shack) would get a chance and that was with the LEGO Ideas program and it looks like a new cracking contraption will be molded into another iconic set as they finally unveiled the official set based on the popular claymation duo of Wallace and Gromit. Now the set is very much Identical to the design on the ideas page and is based on the Bike and side car look and design from the awarding short of A Close Shave and I have to say there is something so charming of its simplicity to it and I am so happy they are giving this a set and making it look akin to the original models like it was mixed and made with the same clay the studio are known for and not looking way too cheesy. Now I mentioned this will also be releasing on October 1st but this one will also be a more affordable set with this pricing at €100 which I have to say is really not bad at all and I expected a lot worse in general. I do hope in all sense this one will be a success and we can get some other sets based on this IP like the techno trousers, norbot or even a large build version of Feather McGraw and even some builds based on Shaun the Sheep or Chicken Run would not be overlooked by me, but we can see about it in due time and for now will be fun to build this set over a serving of cheese and crackers but we can cross that bridge when it drops in October.

Now there is another IP that we have gotten a confirmation on that has had its share of sets and ranges since their initial debut about 5 years ago or so and many like the idea, but the main figure was biggest issue and hoped for a bit of a change, well that change is looking to be coming really soon as after being confirmed back in March with a much requested fix, about a week or 2 ago we finally got the reveal of the sets and figure for the all new LEGO Super Mario Range set to drop next year with now official Minifigs as well of many of the characters including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad, Yoshi and likely more to come down the line with a focus on five sets with the smallest being the Mario kart builds to the biggest being Bowsers Lava fortress that vary in price and piece numbers. Honestly the designs and palette feels more proper and I am sure there can still be way to implement the initial wave of sets with the bulky Minifigs into these in some form but overall I appreciate they listened to the feedback and are making it happen and I will be intrigued to pick up a set or 2 of these when this range drops at the beginning of next year but I am certain more of these will be made real soon.

The last one I will touch on is one that has not been given a proper look to yet but we have been getting an idea of what one of the last big set releases will be for this end of year set and we have seen some distinct set over the years with last year boldly going into the final frontier with the USS Enterprise (that also just released a new set of the bridge and crew just this week), but there has been some discussions of what the next one is and this one will be a monsterous build on a titan scale, as its reported that the big Thanksgiving weekend set release will be with the king of the Monsters himself with a planned Godzilla build. Now this will be a big one with it reported to have over 5000 pieces and set to come in with a very hefty price of around €400 which I can see for that amount of pieces and its size. Now my main question will be if its based on one specific version of the Kaiju itself from the classic 50s design, the more modern Monsterverse design or the ones seen in Shin or the Minus films is unclear but I am sure we will get an idea of it soon enough before it drops for the holiday season, but all I know is I kind of want one of them as a display in my home.
