Well hello again to all of you very fine and very wonderful people across the information superhighway as my name is Sam and as always I am here as your host to the weekly series of Weird Mind News Room where I am here to provide you the focus of all forms of media of the New Releases, Trailers and News Stories that you may or may not have known has popped up over the last few days or week. So lets not waste too much time on the usual intros and lets get into discussing all things media for this week.
New Releases that are not Evil
Movies
Resident Evil (2026)
On the first of the new releases will be bringing us a bit of a double whammy in the focus of an all new Video Game adaption in our vicinity, but also in the case of one other form in the perspective of the Horror Genre, a genre that has been I will say with the big well known films been doing really well this year and it will be a case this time around it will be time to see both combined to create an array of focus of all things evil as Zach Creggar is back for another go around in the horror scene with him releasing his take on the all new adaption on Resident Evil. The film will follow Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who finds himself in a desperate fight for survival against bloodthirsty, mutated creatures and looking to get himself out of this familiar city from the effects of a secret government based virus. Reception on this new film has been very highly praised with great acclaim on the performance of the main lead, the balance of Humour and Horror, and being a solid adaption on this long running game series after many attempts in film adaptions and is now both the best reviewed Resident Evil Film and best reviewed Video Game film adaption and it sounds like Creggar has cracked the code for this series and many doubted him cause it didn't have any of the characters or other connections to the series but this approach will be appealing to both sides and if you are up to experience a new look at horror then you can catch this film out now in cinemas.
Shaun the Sheep the Beast of Mossy Bottom
But if you want something with a little bit more of a lighter form of horror that can appeal for all ages and for the whole family then you are in luck in this instance as we are heading back to the realm of the countryside for this ordeal case as something big, scary and hairy is terrorizing this massive area of land and will soon be a form of a spooky hare-raising adventure to capture it, as everyone's favourite clay molded Sheep and his flock are back once more as we have the release of the all new film based on Shaun the Sheep with The Beast of Mossy Bottom. The film see the residents of Mossy Bottom farm looking forward to Halloween - until the clumsy farmer accidentally trashes the flock's beloved pumpkin patch! When Shaun turns mad scientist to try and fix the problem, things will soon spiral out of control. Now with the farmer missing and a wild beast roaming the woods of Mossingham, all form the ingredients of a monstrously fun adventure. Reception on this film like the first 2 entries of this franchise and other Aardman films have been very well recieved with praise on its stop motion animation, humour, narrative and being another film title of this lovable sheep and if you are ready to stop the beast itself then you can catch this film out now in cinemas.
Bad Apples
But moving away from the horror elements and more to the side of something with a bit more of a Dark Comedy, we have all experienced some form or another some tedious person in a classroom or workspace that will annoy you or just make you think I only need to get through the day and not deal with them for a bit of time after, but what happens in this case where the level of patience will grow thin and lead to an outcome that has quite the mental consequence on you and of a community in the process, well thats what this new film will be given a focus on as we have the release of the new film known as Bad Apples. The film focuses on Maria Spencer (Saoirse Ronan) a teacher that works in a primary school in Somerset, England, where she finds controlling a class of unruly ten-year-olds difficult to manage when its disrupted by one unruly pupil. Soon after an escalation of events, kidnaps the boy and locks him in her basement where she will soon care for him herself while he is searched for by the authorities. Reception on this new film has gotten some solid reception with praise on the performances, its humour and for being a solid satire on the education system that I am sure some teachers have grown to a level of feeling like this, and if you are up for a lesson then you can also catch this film out now in cinemas.
TV Shows
Neagley
Moving over to TV for this week and while we have been in the focus of a massive, hulking figure in the services that will be making sure he gets the job done by any means, it looks like the world of this character will be expanding in this form and focused to another hard working member on the force that helps to make quite a team for justice as the world of the popular series of Reacher is expanding to focus on another familiar face as we have the release of the all new series of Neagley. The series follows the titular character, a private Investigator based in Chicago, who seeks the truth after her childhood friend dies in a suspicious accident that leads her echo canyon farm, a peaceful cult-like commune that fronts an illegal black market operation run by Lawrence Cole and Invection Pharmaceuticals CEO Pierre Woodrow. Reception on this spin off has also seen some very solid reception akin to the original Reacher series with praise on its performances, action, connections and being a solid foundation for other entries in this expanding world, and if you want to check it out for yourself then you can watch the full season now on Amazon Prime.
Monsters: The Lizzie Borden Story
The 2nd of the shows for this week will be a return to a series that has seems to find itself making more and more titles given a focus to the ideals where we first met a man that liked to Party Hardy to an excessive level, a pair of siblings that give off some undertones of innocence and the man that helped to inspire some of films most iconic killers, but we are swapping to the side of going a fair bit back in the past to the focus of this new killer and while it has all been men up to this point, it is showing here that Women are just as much a killer in history as we return to the series of Monster as we have the release of the new entry of the Lizzie Borden Story. Now this will focus on the tales and story of Lizzie Borden who was seen as the main culprit and suspect in the August 4th 1892 axe murders of her Father and Stepmother and the eventual trail and acquittal of the crime itself. Reception on this new season has been more of a mixed outcome akin to the other entries of the series though its one of the more better reviewed entries that while the focus of a female killer, the performance and ideals is liked well enough, it has the usual bog standard issues the other entries have dealt with in if the ideals of sympathizing with the killers is a justifiable means, but if its a case you want to check it out for yourself then you can do catch it fully on Netflix.
Stranger Things Tales from 85 Season 2
The 3rd tv series for this week is one that in all honesty I was not expecting we would get so soon for this franchise approach, given the very first season to this dropped not too long ago but it seems some strange and unsettling creatures will be turning this winter break upside down once more as we are heading back to Hawkins once again this year with the release of the 2nd season to Stranger Things Tales from 85. The season will continue the narrative from the first and follow the Hawkins gang and newcomer Nikki Baxter as they trying go back to their normal lives of arcades, DND and preparing for an upcoming Valentines day Festivities all while they try and investigate a mysterious new entity found from Hawkins abandoned Silver Mine. Reception on this follow up season however is a litte more of a mixed bag as while the visual style of the series is still praised, as well as the voice work, the series still feels bogged down from pacing issues, lack of character development and feeling like a series that has no greater connection or sense to the focal narrative of the original series but I am sure there will be some that will find enjoyment from this and if you want to return to Hawkins once more then you can catch this new season now on Netflix.
South Pa- America
But speaking of another quiet little town, while there is some strange and supernatural things going on in that little town in Indiana, this other mountain town will experience the weird and unexplained elements to it all on the norm daily that its become a strange sight for something not to happen as those boys from Colorado are back for more misadventures as we have the release of the all new season of South Pa- or sorry I mean South America. This new season of the long running popular show will see those 4 boys from Colorado get up to more elaborate and goofy misadventures alongside some other residents of the town with the focus to this first new episode is getting into the high octane craze of the e-Bikes while discussing topics about the name change to the town as a whole. Reception from the beginning of the season so far continues its positive reception with praise on its satire of the modern trends and the real world and could be a return to form of more one off episodes then of a long season narrative (at the moment) but if you want to check it out then you can catch it now on Comedy Central or Paramount Plus with a new Episode releasing possibly every Wednesday.
Video Games
Marvel's Wolverine
Moving over now to the gaming side of things for this week will be looking to head back to the world of the pages of the comics books and while we have been seeing a success with a collection of titles based on the world of the friendly neighbourhood Wall crawler, this time the newest entry will be in the focus of seeing the claws coming out once more to take on the powerful adversaries looking to take down and cause harm to ones kind, as heading back to the world of the Marvel heroes we finally have the release of the newest game from Insomniac with Marvel's Wolverine. Set in the same universe as their Spider-Man titles, the game will follow James "Logan" Howlett, an amnesiac mutant who rejoins Team-X after leaving 3 years prior to help investigate the abduction of displaced mutants by industrialist Bolivar Trask and the Reavers Militia, while also searching for answers regarding his own past. Reception on this new title in the Marvel gaming scene is a positive one with a little bit of a more mixed outcome to it as while the visuals, main lead character and concept is well liked, the game is bogged down in feeling a little more restrictive compared to the Spider-Man games, the combat can be a little repetitive after a while and some aim to the designs of some of the cast being a mixed bag but I am sure its a case of some stumbles and missteps that if given a 2nd chance it can regenerate into a blockbuster series but if you want to sink your claws into this game then you can play it now on PS5.
Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave
The last of the new releases for this week is with one more gaming title that will be bringing us back to a long running and popular series that will be seeing the focus of strategy and planning to prove who will be the best of the champions overall and where you think its to be a champion of the courts, this will rather be a focus to the world of taking the reigns of becoming the saviour of all future life and it all begins in the past as after being quiet in the gaming scene for a few years, the popular RPG series has returned as we have the release of the newest entry of the Fire Emblem series with Fortunes Weave. Set within the Dagden Empire, the player takes on the role of four warriors in the heroic games to gain their heart's desire, and a hero chosen by the progenitor god Sothis to ensure their survival against the demon God Balor and travel into the future to defeat their army or darkness and save the past, present and Future. Reception on this new game has been very strongly acclaimed with praise on the gameplay, narrative, characters, visuals and bringing so many new elements and concepts to improve on the games as they expand and seen as one of this years best reviewed games and if you are ready for the games to begin then you can play it now on Nintendo Switch 2.
The Beast of Trailer Time
Crystal Lake
For the first of the trailers for this week was one that initially was supposed to be for last week but it dropped and released after I had finished writing the title and akin to the 2nd one it was late enough that it went into this week so I will count it in that approach of things but this is a title that I can definetely say has been a bit of a journey to get here and similar to what was seen as presumed dead and sunk to the bottom of the lake, like the figure in focus to this series, they will rise back up and take their revenge, but we will see where the legendary masked killer began and that its lineage runs in the family as we finally recieved a trailer for the all new prequel series to Friday the 13th with Crystal Lake. Set as a prequel to the whole series, after a fatal accident takes the life of young Jason Voorhees, his mother Pamela is left grief stricken. As the tow moves on Pam holds out hold her son is still alive since a body was never found. She soon finds comfort with the towns Chief of police and they grow a bond, but their connection will soon be called into question when more bodies start to pop up all around the quiet town of Crystal Lake and may lead to a dark and twisted outcome that many know she will become. So I have recalled talking on and seeing a fair bit of discussion on this series for quite some time when I initially heard this was being canned a couple of years ago but it seems they have made it properly work out with a decent and solid voice cast for it all and the ideals of seeing how it all began after we only see the glimpse of it in small snippets of the original film series or other media and I like the approach that they are going with this series in general and I hope and feel this could revive the series in general but I am sure we can see by the outcome when it releases on SKY and Now in the UK and Ireland and on Peacock in the US on October 15th.
Mr Irrelevant
The 2nd trailer for this week will be giving us a perspective and focus to the life of another name that may or may not be the most well known but their story can provide many different variations of inspiration or a story to inspire of showing no matter an outcome or situation that one dealt with they will find a way to make it work and its in the focus of this sports star that will find a way to defy all the odds as we have the release of the trailer for the all new film known as Mr Irrelevant. The film will be a true story retelling of the life of John Tuggle (David Corenswet) a man who was drafted by the New York Giants as a final selection of the 1983 NFL draft and the impact that he will have upon his team and teammatesin the process. So this is another person akin to the likes of the one from last year of Marty Supreme himself that I did not have much of a clue as to who they are but it seems there is a sense of hope in this case that this person had potential to be a massive star today if it were not for a terrible health ordeal that cut it short and I do hope in the focus to all of this that they actually give it more of a respect and focus to the person and not try to make some fictionalized film about someones life and lose the point of the narrative (I am not a fan of Marty unfortunately) but I am interested to see Corenswet portray this symbol of hope and maybe look a little more into his life down the line but I guess we will see by the release of this film on Christmas Day in the States and New Years day in the UK and Ireland.
Other Mommy
For the 3rd trailer of this week and the only other form of horror based focus will be given a sense of remembering back to the time where when we were younger we had at one point maybe had that invisible friend that we would talk to when we were alone or down and that connection helped to bring a sense of imagination and intrigue, but what will happen when this imaginary figure starts to become a little more real, a little more aggressive and will have in some form a sense of sinister and tragic aspects to it all, well that is what this next trailer will be given a focus of entailing as we have the release of the 2nd and final trailer for the all new horror of Other Mommy. Now based on the novel of Incidents around the House (and maybe the famous 2 sentence Horror Story), it will focus on the presence of a Paranormal Entity of 'Other Mommy' that takes on the appearance of a young girls mother, that soon threatens her family and haunts her home with her only request is wanting to be and live in her heart. If there has been one thing I keep seeing in all of the comments for this films trailers and of the sorts it has been the sole case that everyone thinks that this is some live action retelling of Coraline with the other Mother but they seem to overlook that this is an adaption of a different book and from what I have gathered about that title is that it is quite a tragic one at that and it seems like this could be telling something similar in being a tragic outcome and even the case that Jessica Chastain is creeping me out immensely, especially her laugh at the end of this trailer, but either way I am intrigued to check this out when the film is released into cinemas from the 9th of October.
Wildwood
Then the sole animated trailer for this week will be bringing us back to another world moulded by hand and while we have the focus of the new release being an iconic sheep and his misadventures on his home at the farm, this other film in focus will be giving a sense of a grand scale outcome that will be bringing its array of dedication that has been put into the title for more then a decade and seeing the return of another iconic studio after all this time as coming to us from Laika, we have the release of the final trailer for the upcoming new title of Wildwood. Based on the novel of the same name, the film will follow Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) and her Classmate Curtis Mehlberg (Jacob Trembley) are drawn into a hidden magical forest near Portland in an attempt to save Prue's kidnapped infant brother Mac from the crows, who are led by a mysterious woman named Alexandra (Carey Mulligan). It has been a case that with every new trailer and clip that I have seen for this film has just impressed me more and more in the ideals of the dedication and craft that has been shown here and been made for what I assume is more then a decade of work and given its going for a little more of a mature age rating and that this will be the longest stop motion film at over 2 hours then I am sure this will be something worth of a spectacle to be seen and I am sure we can see what comes about all of this and am looking forward to checking this out when it releases in just a little over a months time on October 23rd.
Hunger Games Sunrise on the Reaping
But speaking on another book adaption, our next trailer is once more bringing us to a strange and mysterious place that will be seeing the focus to everything being the focus of taking those that are a little more on the oppressed and making them battle to the death for the purpose of the entertaining of the the higher classes and while they have seen a various amount of years of this sole entertainment measure, this will be seeing it all come together in being a year where everything changed dramatically for the future of this society as we have been given a new trailer for the upcoming prequel of the Hunger Games series with Sunrise on the Reaping. Taking place 24 years before the events of the original novel and film, this new story follows a young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) who is selected to compete in the 50th Hunger Games, or known as the second Quarter Quell, where for this special edition of the games will see each district of Panem send twice the number of tributes to the capitol, who will all battle to the death in the annual games. So this is kind of one that I mentioned a little bit back on the basis when that first trailer dropped a year out in the likes of them forgetting that their is a new Hunger Games coming out and was discussing with someone saying that releasing trailers for this that early will give it more chances to be shown in front of other films and marketing on tv ads but I have yet to see this materialize bar maybe once when the other prequel film had a bit of a presence more then I can recall. I am not sure what I am on about here as I have not really watched the films but maybe I will give them a proper watch before then and I will say there is a bit of an interesting ideal to see where the stories of some of the other members of the original novels dealt with their editions of the games but maybe I will find some appeal from checking them out (and also bask in the glory of the performance of District 8 Hospital Helper) but I am sure we can see of the putcome to this project when the games begin with the release into cinemas in 2 months time on November 20th.
How to Rob a Bank
The next trailer in focus will be a case of the array of a film giving us a bit of a how to guide with these sorts of things and while we can have some means of beneficial discussions for household functions or daily important aspects like paying bills and such but what if there was more of a different means of how to such as crimes, well this is what this new title will be a focus on as we have a release of a new trailer for the upcoming new title of How to Rob a Bank. The film follows a group of Bank Robbers, who use the prowess of Social Media to document their heists that they have pulled off while escaping from the police, but soon an old flame to the leader of the group may be used by the police force to try and take them down in exchange for a better life. It is a case that in the approach of this being a group of content creators taking up a various means of action and a sort of Robin Hood esque outcome tom their heists and I am surprised I have not seen some of this idiot influencers trying tom pull this off but maybe they have some common ground sense then I realize but besides that this looks like it could be a real solid outing and will be worth seeing the approach to it all soon enough and you can subscribe to their means when the plan is uploaded into cinemas from November 13th.
Sacrifice
For the last of the film trailers for this week will be a focus of another title that has been making the waves and appearances at the film festivals and in this case will be seeing what seems like a simple event of star studded gala that will lead to a whole ordeal sense of craziness and to a level of seeing some form of ritual taking a focus, as this is what this next trailer will entail as we have the release of the all new trailer for the all new film of Sacrifice. The film will focus on Mike Tyler (Chris Evans) a film star that is looking to make a comeback is suddenly finding himself being abducted alongside two other guests (John Malkovich, Salma Hayek) by a radical group led by Joan (Anya Taylor Joy) that will believe by sacrificing three people to the gods that it will bring the saving of humanity. So I had heard a little bit of this title here and there over the last little bit in the focus of the ideals of this having some interesting aspects and concepts that could be well worth seeing as a solid black comedy and the ideals of this collection of names riffing off one another could be interesting but maybe it will have to be seen beyond the somewhat mixed reception of the title which we can see by its release onto Netflix from the 16th of October.
Hollywood Arts
The final trailer for this week will be bringing us back to the era of the past where we will be given a focus of both the ideals of finding ones self from the areas of education and the other of a return to a place we had grown up watching in the likes of our youth that we have seen many famous names appear through these halls and classrooms that went on to bigger things, while the focus here is that even in the ideals of grandeur were a little underwhelming in the outcome they may find hope in this place they tried to find themselves in as we have the release of the full trailer for the new Victorious Spin off or Sequel series of Hollywood Arts. The new series will focus on Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) who has been struggling as an actress for years and decides to return to Hollywood Arts where she becomes an unqualified Substitute teacher where she will soon clash with and inspire a new generation of ambitious and eccentric students. So as I mentioned in a previous episode when I have talked about this project, the ideals of this I feel makes somewhat sense for all of this to be a thing and giving a focus of finding ones self from a past interaction makes sense in the grand scope. I also feel like the tone of being similar to the original series feels a bit more of a balance that makes sense for being a solid follow up to the original, that feels better in focus then the likes of the revival series of Icarly that went for the more adult based follow up that I just never felt like it worked but I hope this could be something that will appeal more to me but I guess we will see in the outcome of the series when it drops on Netflix from October 16th.
Weaving of News
The big wins of television: Emmy results and wins
So it is another week in focus of some different stories and in this case it has been another year that has come along since we last discussed about this and it looks like we have a discussion of some winners as on Tuesday the annual Emmy Awards took place where many shows and series across the different channels and streamers will gather together to find themselves in the battle to prove who is the best when it comes to the likes of this overall role in the various categories of main and creative arts side and I will try and give some of the big wins in focus of each side so lets delve into it all and see what has come out on top.
So the biggest winner of the night across a multitude of awards went to the Apple Tv+ comedy series of Widow's Bay winning 14 of its 19 nominations, including 6 of the 7 major awards including for Outstanding Comedy, lead actor for Matthew Rhys, Supporting actor (Stephen Root) and Actress (Kate O'Flynn) and for its directing and writing making it a solid contender of being a new strong title to be in focus and developed for that streamer going forward I can tell. For the following titles came in with a tie for 2nd across both the main and creative arts one with these titles all winning 7 awards each including the Superbowl Halftime show with Bad Bunny, DTF St Louis and the US version of The Traitors, with the latter 2 winning a major award in their specific categories including for best reality competition series and best limited series for each. Then coming in to round out the top 7 winners of the night was with another 3 titles all winning 6 awards each which was for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (with a major win for talk show), The Pitt (with 2 major wins for Drama series and for Noah Wyle in lead role) and Pluribus (Winning for Rhea Seehorn for lead actress in Drama and for outstanding writing) and all of these are well worth their wins in general, especially for Colbert with this win being a big middle finger to the whole company that cancelled them after multiple years on air yet have $110 Billion to buy Warner Bros and lick the arse of the Orange Man but I hope for more of that host somewhere down the line. But speaking of titles that have won big but the outcome seems uncertain or conclusive, 2 of the shows nominated that won a fair amount of awards I was happy with came in the side of both Spider-Noir and The Muppets Show both winning 5 and 4 awards respectfully with Noir winning for Cinematography, sound design, visual effects, title sequence and stunt coordination and the Muppets winning for Writing, production design, editing and for outstanding variety show. Now the reason I say its uncertain as it was also confirmed during the week that Noir was not continuing with a 2nd season despite great reception and the outcome of a full series order for the iconic Muppets is stuck in the focus of creative difficulties in cracking a premise..... when I am here thinking its a Muppet show with a collection of sketch comedy moments, some music, hijinks and a special guest that gets involved like they did 50 years ago and they did with the special with Sabrina Carpenter so there is some hope that we will see something for this series eventually. But besides that there was a fair selection of some other titles and shows that got a fair amount of recognition and while not every series was a winner this year they all prove there is some appeal to it all as the years go on so I am sure we will see what will be making the focus at the awards next year but I guess we will see by then.

Collection of stories that may entice you
And as for the 2nd story focus of the week is of course the usual round up in the focused perspective of the Hodge Podge that may not be as hefty as other weeks have been but there is still a fair few in focus to it all in mainly in the project and item announcements and some casting in there too, so let us delve into talking on the more quieter week of stories and see what they have in focus
And we will start with a story on one that we actually ended the news section on last week and that was in the area of discussing on a title of a game being made by a titan of the industry as there has been some updates in the focus of the new title from Hideo Kojima of Physint. Now last week I brought up the discussion that the game was initially quietly cancelled back in due by Sony due to an array of missed deadlines, ballooning budgets and his previous titles not reaching the sales numbers of their standards and from that 3 months timeframe saw at the end of last week seeing Kojima leaving the relationship with Sony and jumping ship to the rival of XBox who welcomed him with open arms and added another title to their console series after his new horror of OD and that was the case I thought it would be quiet for the time being until the likes of Game Awards would give some updates to it all, but it seems I was mistaken as after being freed from the shelving and given a new life, they decided to give some ideals of the title with its focus on who will be making an appearance or presence in this title. On Wednesday this week Kojima and XBox unveiled 4 names that will be involved with the title as characters with the main lead being portrayed by Bill Skarsgard (IT) as the main focal detective character and will be also joined by Charlee Fraser (Furiosa), Don Lee (Train to Busan) and Minami Hamabe (Godzilla Minus One) also confirmed to appear in this all new espionage title. I have to say the selection here is not a bad choice and there is an appeal of some familiar names and some newcomers or more smaller roles getting a focus here and while I and many other online were thinking that it was Pattinson playing the lead in this game, I will say Skarsgard is a solid choice here overall and I am very interested to see what Kojima has in mind for this new project in particular. Now at the moment this is all we have to discuss on right now and I am sure more names and when we can expect this title will pop up down the line, but once I hear anything about this at all I will let you know in a later episode.
Speaking on projects that were initially seen as being dead and buried for quite some time, it looks like another project from the past is making a return back from six feet under after being seen as dead for well over a decade, as it seems after first being alluded to by Paramount a few months back, it has now been confirmed earlier this week that a proper sequel to the 2013 film of World War Z with it confirmed that lead star Brad Pitt will be making a return for this follow up and the film shall be helmed by Ed Berger (Conclave, All Quiet on the Western Front) in directing duties. Now this sequel has been in the midst of development hell for a long time as it was initially suppose to be made and released for 2016 but the date came and went and it was told at the time the sequel was delayed indefinitely but it seems they are making a return and may have a follow up story to continue the narrative of the first films take on the story. The initial film was a modest success, though the big focus that was overlooked in most of the film was that it really didn't adapt the novel it was based on at all and was not really much of a war as in the novel there is a big focus narrative and famous piece that helped to make the piece of fiction stand out and it was with the Battle of Yonkers and the narrative was initially about the survivors of the conflict on the frontlines, so whether that will be the focus perspective in this follow up will have to be seen or if it will go in its own direction with the books author involved. Now at the moment there is no word on when exactly we may get this sequel yet but once I hear anything I will let you know in a later episode.
But now for somewhat new adaptions in the focus and it seems in this case akin to the news for the last few weeks we have some news in relation to gaming but rather more in the side of playing the games, this will be more on the side of games that you will be more in watching play out over a certain length of time or format and one studio is going all in with some new adaptions as it was announced earlier in the week that Sega is partnering with Netflix to bring a trio of titles and adaptions to the service which will include a full comedy based film based on Crazy Taxi, a film on the yet to be released title of Stranger than Heaven and the confirmation of another animated series based on the character of Sonic the Hedgehog. The Sonic one makes complete sense as it seems the outcome on film and tv side of things have proven to be a success, especially with their release of Prime a few years back that was well recieved and will see this side of sonic alongside the next film being a bright spot for the Blue Blur. The 2 films are an interesting ideals as I can see the likes of Crazy Taxi working out in some way or form, but hopefully more akin to the likes of an animated title as I feel they can go all out on visuals for the madcap aesthetic this game series is known for and the one on Stranger than Heaven is interesting though I feel we will have to judge it off the release of the actual game itself to see if a film will work or if it shoudl shift gears to a full tv series but I guess we an see closer to its release early next year. Overall these 3 sound like it could have potential and we hope this will not be boggled down to overlong development and the Netflix-isms that they tend to do but I am sure we can see down the and one I have any updates on when we can see these titles I will let you know in a later episode.
Then in the last of the stories is one that it was going to be in some form or another was going to make some appearance in a variation and form and that is with the the focus of some all new storues from the world of LEGO and while we have had a discussion of some sets in recent weeks from a British classic duo, a new tech based build, under the sea and even to reports and waiting about the eventual Thanksgiving release of a classic kaiju, this new one came along after being initially poised in the Ideas catalogue and will be bringing a great ordeal of class and grace to a build for a change as it was announced on Monday of this week that we have gotten revealed a set based on the long running and popular British period piece drama of Downton Abbey with the set being a recreation of the iconic location itself. now the item will have a focus of some of the familiar parts of the manor build from nearly 5000 pieces and will come with 14 minifigures included of some of the familiar faces from the series and even more mold made for the manors faithful dog and I can see this fitting well in amongst other modular builds and city scape settings you may be building if you are. This set will leave a little bit of a hole in your pocket but its surprisingly not as pricey as I was expecting as the entire manor will be coming in at around €300 and this set will also be releasing on October 1st alongside the PlayStation and Wallace and Gromit sets so there is a bit of a selection for the beginning of the next month for some option of choice for LEGO building. Now I am sure this will be getting some of the set for the early part of the Fall out of the way so they can prepare for the year end sets and the ones to reign in the new year but I am sure we can see as the weeks go on as we close out the year of more of these interesting builds themselves.
